Set Up WAVS Bridge
First, download and install WAVS Bridge. Once installed, it becomes available as a plugin you can load inside your DAW.
-
Load WAVS Bridge in Your Project
Add WAVS Bridge to a MIDI (or instrument) track in your session. Once the plugin is active, it establishes a real-time link between your DAW and the WAVS app.
-
Preview Samples in Time
In the WAVS app interface, the “plugin” icon in the bottom-right corner will light up green when Bridge is successfully connected. You can click it to temporarily disable the link if you want to preview samples independently from your project timeline.
With the connection live, click "Tempo Sync" to browse WAVS samples in sync with your project’s tempo and bar position. If your DAW is playing or recording while you listen to samples, they’ll stay locked in time with your metronome.
-
Tempo Sync Options
You can speed up or slow down a sample by half (÷2) or doubling (2×) inside the app to better match your session’s feel.
-
Bring the Sample Into Your DAW
Once you find a sample that fits your track:
- Drag & drop it from the WAVS app into your project timeline.
- Or click “Copy or Drag Modified Sample” in the WAVS app, which copies your pitch/time-stretch version to the clipboard—then paste it into your DAW directly.
