If your stems download is a ZIP file, extract it before opening the audio in your music software.
Open the download
- Wait for the download to finish, then find the .zip file where your browser saved it. This is usually your computer’s Downloads folder.
- On Windows, right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All. Follow the prompts, then open the extracted folder.
- On Mac, double-click the ZIP. The extracted folder appears beside it.
- Open the extracted folder and any folders inside it to find the audio files. Import those extracted files into your music software.
If the ZIP will not open or appears empty
- Check that your computer has enough free storage for the extracted files.
- Sign in to WAVS, open Downloads, and find the sample you previously downloaded. If a stems download is available, download it again and open the new copy. If you cannot find the stems download, contact support.
- If WAVS Support has confirmed that a corrected ZIP is available, follow the re-download instructions provided by support.
- If extraction still fails, or an expected instrument is missing after extraction, contact support so we can check the file.
What to send support
Email support@wavs.com with the sample or pack link, ZIP filename, Windows or macOS version, exact extraction error or behavior, and the affected file or instrument if the ZIP opens but the audio is wrong.
You can include a screenshot of the error. Hide unrelated personal information, and never send your password or payment-card details.
